3-DAY CRUISE TO LEBANON & EGYPT

This experience starts from Limassol port at around 19.00 hours. After passport formalities you may relax in your comfort cabin or at the ship's bar area. The night starts with a spectacular buffet dinner. Enjoy a rich palette of international cuisine in the luxurious dining rooms, relax with cocktail and music throughout the evening in one of the vessel’s bar, or if live shows and cabaret are more your scene, visit the lounges where you will be entertained all night. Next day, in the morning, we dock at "Beirut" and after breakfast we board on air-conditioned coaches and head to "BYBLOS".

BYBLOS: The excursion of Beirut starts with a visit to the city’s center, where centuries old tradition combines with modern architecture in an almost incredible rebuilding project. The tour proceeds to the Jeita Grotto, a most unique experience to admire the caverns sculpted by water and time, which created awe-inspiring stalactites and stalagmites.

And then on to Byblos, the oldest settlement in the world, where there is a fascinating combination of ancient ruins and a colorful bazaar. The excursion continues with a panoramic tour of Jounieh, a city of high rise buildings on a mountainside, and a visit to the church of the Lady of Harissa, a rise of 620 meters.

CAIRO/PYRAMIDS/RIVER NILE:
After we arrive at Port-Said we drive through the cultivated desert to Cairo - home to 18 million people and the largest city of the African continent. Our first stop is the Giza Plateau and the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. We continue down the valley to visit the guardian of this mortuary complex, the mighty Sphinx. Watching the passage of time and men in centuries of silence, its enigmatic expression is a mystery yet to be unravelled. Our next stop is at Papyrus Institute where the science of paper-making of reeds, an art first discovered by the ancient Egyptians, is demonstrated. We continue downtown to the Banks of the River Nile where a luxurious cruise boat awaits to sail down the same timeless waterway traversed by Pharaohs, Queens and Nobles thousands of years ago. Sit back, relax and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch in elaborate interiors as we glide past Cairo's waterfront landmarks. For our entertainment, a folkloric presentation and belly dancing will be performed during lunch. Our last stop is at Tahrir (Liberty) Square, the heart of downtown Cairo. We visit the National Archaeological Museum and acquaint ourselves with Egypt's ancient history, spanning a period of over 50 centuries! The Museum is the repository of the world's largest and richest collection of Egyptian Antiquities, amongst them the priceless collection of King Tut-Ank-Hamon. Return to Port Said at the conclusion of your visit.
